We’re thrilled to announce that Nicole Sarver will be joining our team on September 1st!
Here’s a little introduction from Nicole herself:
“Hailing from the other side of the globe, I was born and raised in the USA. My husband and I visited New Zealand eight years ago and fell in love with the nature and the people, promising ourselves that one day we’d make this beautiful country our home.
I graduated with a degree in Biology, followed by my veterinary degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2013 (Go Badgers!). Since then, I’ve worked as an overnight emergency vet, a daytime companion animal vet, and everything in between. I also spent time volunteering at our local aquarium, marking sea turtle nesting sites, which inspired me to head back to school for a third time to complete a Master’s in Conservation Medicine.
Outside of work, I’m happiest outdoors—hiking, camping, running, biking, kayaking, or anything that gets me into nature. I’m also passionate about conservation and wildlife photography.
Fun fact: I’ve had the incredible opportunity to spend a month each in Madagascar and India, exploring their national parks and photographing endemic wildlife.
My special interests in veterinary medicine include critical care, urgent care cases, and internal medicine.”
