We have a couple of exciting updates to share with you this month.
Firstly, Dr Sarver has recently stepped into the role of Clinic Lead Vet. After six months with the team, Dr Sarver has settled in extremely well and become a valued part of the clinic. We’re really looking forward to the exciting times ahead with her in this role.
We’re also very pleased to welcome Ally, an experienced veterinary nurse who joined our team at the end of March. With an additional experienced nurse on the team, we’ll be able to offer more consistent nurse consult hours, making it easier for clients to book appointments for things like nail trims, weight checks, post-operative checks, dental checks and general nurse advice.
Ally has always had a passion for animals and says it was clear from a very young age that she was destined to work with them. Growing up, she was known for “visiting” the neighbours whenever they had a litter of puppies or kittens — and occasionally sneaking home with one tucked into her dress! Needless to say, the neighbours soon learned to keep a close eye on their animals.
While Ally loves caring for cats and dogs, she also has a soft spot for some of the smaller (and sometimes misunderstood) pets too, including mice, rats and even snakes.
