Born in the UK, Vikki graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Medicine. Her love of both travel and veterinary work has taken her around the world, providing care for a wide range of species—from harvest mice, primates, big cats to rhinos, as well as the cats and dogs she sees every day. She began her career in mixed-animal practice in the UK before deciding to explore new opportunities in New Zealand.

Vikki now lives on a farm with her husband, children, dogs and cat. When she’s not working, she enjoys the outdoors, staying active, and embracing all aspects of rural life.

She enjoys all areas of general practice but has particular interests in soft tissue surgery, imaging (especially ultrasonography), and dentistry.
